We have a 90-day limited return policy, which means you have 90 days after receiving your item to request a return on eligible items.
To be eligible for a return, your item must have a manufacturing flaw such as a loose stone or broken clasp that impairs the function or wearability of the item. All handmade items contain small flaws, and such flaws do not constitute a reason for return. To be eligible, you’ll also need the receipt or proof of purchase.
To start a return, send photos or a description of the issue to firstname.lastname@example.org. Please note that returns will need to be sent to the Victoria, British Columbia, Canada. A shipping address will be provided, along with a return form and shipping label.
If your return is accepted, we’ll send you a return shipping label, as well as instructions on how and where to send your package. Items sent back to us without first requesting a return will not be accepted.

Damages and issues
Please inspect your order upon reception and contact us immediately if the item is defective, damaged or if you receive the wrong item, so that we can evaluate the issue and make it right.
Exceptions / non-returnable items
Most types of items cannot be returned unless they are defective due to a manufacturing flaw. We also do not accept returns for rings that don't fit*. Please be certain of your ring size before ordering. Please get in touch if you have questions or concerns about your specific item.
Unfortunately, we cannot accept returns or exchanges on sale items, gift cards, or digital downloads.
*The only item that can be exchanged for a new size are metal stacking rings, at the shipping expense of the customer. Please email firstname.lastname@example.org to initiate an exchange. Accepted exchanges will be shipped to customer within 7 business days of the receipt of the item.
Repairs and resizing
Items that require repairs beyond the 90 day return window, or items that are damaged due to customer mishandling, may be eligible for repairs, subject to the availability of materials and vendor. Please email email@example.com with photos or a description of the damage to initiate a repair. Accepted repairs will be given a quote and return shipping instructions. Repairs are billed at $25/hr plus the cost of shipping and materials. Repairs can can 2-8 weeks from the receipt of the item, depending on the availability of materials.
In most cases, rings cannot be resized. Emily Grace Goodrich is a small, independent artisan business that does not own the necessary resizing equipment. In almost all cases, it will be more cost-effective and quicker for the customer to seek out a local commercial jeweller for ring resizing.
European Union 14 day cooling off period
Notwithstanding the above, if the merchandise is being shipped into the European Union, you have the right to cancel or return your order within 14 days, for any reason and without a justification. As above, your item must be in the same condition that you received it, unworn or unused, with tags, and in its original packaging. You’ll also need the receipt or proof of purchase. We will notify you once we’ve received and inspected your return, and let you know if the refund was approved or not. If approved, you’ll be automatically refunded on your original payment method within 10 business days. Please remember it can take some time for your bank or credit card company to process and post the refund too.
